Backyard Wonderland

The couple decided to use the expertise of Jamie Fleckenstein and Chad Wichers, whose multi-terraced plan highlights plenty of spaces for the kids to play as well as separate adult-friendly areas nearby. The bluestone and concrete patio is a grand entrance into the yard complete with a new water feature. For additional color and lushness amid the rocks, they plant hostas, blue oak grass, rhododendron and western sword fern. The lower patio has a beautiful arbor to provide privacy once the hot tub is built.
