Six months ago Doug Michael bought a house that suits him perfectly. He's a 50s- and 60s-aficionado, so the look of the home was irresistible. He'd like to remove the concrete as well as the pergola and add plant materials to soften the space. He wants to upgrade the look of the pool and the fence behind it as well as add a Tiki hut to make it a yard ideal for entertaining. With a budget of $20,000, Doug wishes to turn his backyard into a tropical retreat.
