Before: Lonely OutpostThe interior of Jill and Steve's home near Phoenix reflects their eclectic style and their love of Spanish colonial and Tuscan décor. But the front yard looks more like a moonscape than a landscape. With a $50,000 budget, they challenge designers Richard Larios, Peter Harrison and Chris Ford to create a fabulous frontage from the ground up.
Steve says their unfinished backyard is a real-attention getter – but not in a good way. With no visible driveway or entry, the house looks like it fell into the desert from the sky. Jill and Steve want to define the front of their home with a sweeping drive, a courtyard for outdoor relaxation and a lush desert landscape.
