Mark Sutter's design combines a low wall and bending path to create a formal approach to Kerr's house. Lynn has come up with a landscape that combines hardy, low-maintenance plants with those that are native to the South. John Hourian would like to increase the drama in the yard with a wide entrance flanked by a low hedge.
Kerr selects Sutter's plan, and he proceeds to create an elegant front yard that showcases the Colonial architecture of the home. Kerr loves her "little Tara" and is amazed at his ability to give her the elegant front yard she was after.
