Two more matching chairs are updated by crafting basket weave seats embellished with upholstery tacks and hot-pink ribbon. Todd gives the small dining table a unique weatherproof top. First he adheres burlap to the tabletop. Then he spreads two quarts of water-soluble polyurethane over the surface with a rubber spatula. When dry, the hard surface is waterproof and shiny.
