Actress Liza Huber of NBC's Passions and her husband, Alex Hesterberg, purchased a house built in the 1930s that sported a very narrow three-room galley kitchen. They opened up the galley, maximized storage space and created a cozy breakfast nook.

The new kitchen is clean and modern but still true to the original design of the house. The homeowners were able to pack a lot of punch into their compact galley kitchen by adding high-end appliances, style, personality and function.
