Most people who have two homes live in the hectic city during the week and get out to the soothing country on the weekend. These homeowners do the opposite. On the weekends they escape suburban New Jersey for their New York City loft. Clearly, urban inspiration is at work.

The homeowners never liked the loft's original kitchen, saying that it was too dark and not entertaining-friendly. So they called on designer Shelly McClure to help them create a clean, sleek, modern look for their new kitchen.
