Modern Blue Kitchen

Designer Arthur Tanturri turned a small galley kitchen into a loft-like space by removing walls and bringing in bold blue painted glass cabinets and high-end appliances for a sleek clean look. Black granite counters and white laminate cabinets create a nice contrast. Appliances include a built-in cappuccino machine and a smooth surface cooktop that operates only if there is a pot on top. Behind the cooktop is a reflective double-laminated white glass backsplash, which creates the illusion of space and depth.
