Kitchen Makeover in Blue and White

Lauren reworks the layout, eliminating three cabinets to create a gourmet cook station with a shiny new vent hood. Then she moves the washer and dryer to the basement to make room for an office area complete with a custom message board.

Blue paint and faux wood laminate flooring bring together the kitchen and breakfast room. A low-cost but attractive tin backsplash in a traditional square pattern gives the kitchen an updated feel, and new hardware adds a final decorative touch to the cabinets.

The Spice Up My Kitchen crew got Roslyn out of a sticky situation and turned the kitchen into a bright, open, modern space that she can enjoy for years to come.
