Homeowners Mary and Bill Schmaling's old kitchen was just a small square area that was sort of cut up and not very functional. So they changed all that by building an addition that expanded their space by more than 10 feet.

The Schmalings call in designer Candace Babenic to help fill the new large space. The result is a casual, fun space where they can cook and entertain friends and family.
