Typical colors used in French country design are deep and rich — Mediterranean blue, sunny yellow and terra cotta. By taking these traditional Provence colors and mixing them with black and white accents and contemporary accessories, the 24 Hour Design team has created a French modern kitchen that is both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing. French country design also incorporates well-worn antique furniture, natural materials and wrought iron. The homeowners' dining room, also a family relic, was given a new set of French bistro chairs. The new wall-mounted cabinet combines classic and modern by taking wrought iron, a typical element in French country design, and giving it a contemporary twist.
