This eclectic Californian house is the creation of homeowners Wendy and Neil Borsuk. Neil, an architect, and Wendy, an owner of a vintage clothing boutique, decided to undertake redesigning of this unique, artistic and funky kitchen themselves. Some of the features of this beach cottage-style kitchen include white subway tiles lining the backsplash, a stainless-steel topped work table that serves as the island, marble countertops and 1920s-style beadboard cabinets. While they wanted to infuse the room with a 1920s feeling, they also gave it modern convenience with state-of-the-art appliances.
