Colorful Vintage Kitchen Design

This piece had a previous life in the homeowners' bedroom and functioned as an armoire. Karen glued some sheet metal onto the door; then she took fruit pieces from a child's puzzle and glued on magnets to create a quirky message board. The handle of the cupboard door is actually a banana taken from a wooden set of fruit — another child's toy. Karen used the back of the puzzle and some leftover pieces of wooden fruit to create a towel rack.
