John Barrowman

Born in Scotland, John Barrowman is an actor, musical performer, dancer, singer and author best known for his work in BBC shows including Doctor Who and Torchwood. He has lived and worked both in the U.K. and U.S. and has appeared on Broadway and several American TV shows, including the CBS series Central Park West.

Away from the camera, John is a member of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme, an organization dedicated to promoting outstanding achievements by young people and has acted as MC for presentations of the Awards at St James's Palace. He currently resides in the U.K.
