Jane Lockhart

Jane Lockhart, interior designer, color expert and host of HGTV’s Colour Confidential, graduated from the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University in Toronto. Having earned a reputation as a highly skilled painter of faux finishes, Jane has spent the past 10 years traveling throughout North America, giving Colour Foundations seminars. She also collaborated in the production of the best-selling book Paint a Great Impression. Jane's latest book, Room Recipes: Cooking Up Style With Colour, demonstrates how anyone can create a personal style from his or her own materials, including fabrics, textures, furnishing and other prized belongings -- a concept that is often put to use on Colour Confidential.
