Howard Eason was raised in Dunn, N.C., and, as the second youngest of 11 children, his handyman skills were developed out of necessity. His humble beginnings required him to make the most out of what he had, which fostered his interest in design, construction and repair. He attended N.C. Central University and is now a business operations manager in Durham, N.C., where he also runs his own interior design company. His other interests include traveling, charity work, watching sports and home improvement projects.
