Dave Higdon and Arturo Beeche looked long and hard before buying their home, but they still have some issues with energy consumption in the house they settled on. House detective Steve Ramos identifies the refrigerator and conditioner as the major energy guzzlers. He also discovers energy leaks around the front and back door and the fireplace. The house also lacks proper insulation and is not ventilated well. General contractor Arcadia Maximo helps with the fixes, including installing insulation and new fireplace doors.
