There are lots of women in country design who think the perfect gift is a new power tool. That's the case with some ladies in Portland, Ore. They don't buy country accessories; they build them, and the leader of this tool pack is Shannon Quimby. When creating their unique pieces they all follow some important safety guidelines, which are:

  • Protect your eyes with safety goggles or glasses.

  • Protect your ears with earplugs.

  • Remove jewelry and don't wear loose-fitting clothing that could get caught in saw blades.

  • If you wear gloves, make sure they fit well and aren't too big.
