Kay and Rod Glantz are the kind of folks who make lemonade when life hands them lemons. This attitude helped them convert a dirty, rundown granary into a charming country home.
The Henderson, Neb., building was used by Rod's father since the 1940s. When his father heard about the couple's plan to live in the old granary he thought they should be put out to pasture. Nonetheless, they moved the grain building to a new location and kept the grain bin doors and even some kernels of corn that fall out of the walls.
