Steps:
Roller Shade
- Have a home center cut the shade to desired width and choose a mural design that will approximately fit that width.
- Apply the wallpaper paste (be sure to use vinyl paste for a vinyl shade) to the back of the mural using chip brush or foam roller. Center mural on rolled out shade about two inches from the bottom. Smooth shade in place with a slightly damp sponge and wipe excess paste off.
- Let dry completely before hanging shade.
Faux Shutters
- Apply crackle medium to front of cabinet door with a foam roller. Medium will dry smooth, clear and slightly tacky.
- Apply crackle activator over entire front surface (more will yield larger cracks ). Let dry overnight.
- Put on antique glaze mixed with some acrylic paint. Let dry.
