Diamonds look great when mounted on a ring, but they're very useful when embedded in a circular saw blade. A circular saw equipped with a diamond-tipped blade can cut through marble, stone, brick and tile. A 7-inch segmented diamond blade costs about $30 and the segmented design means the blade will last longer and run cooler. Always wear the proper clothing and safety gear when working with a segmented diamond blade, including gloves, long sleeves, a dust mask and a full-face shield. Remember to go slow and allow the blade to do the work.
