Stephanie and Dana Arnett were hooked the first time they saw their home. The 1981 sculpture studio was literally built around a 5-ton crane that once hoisted massive stone sculptures. Through the next eight years, they turned the cathedral-like space with soaring 40-foot ceilings into a light, airy and inviting home.
The hook and crane still dangles in the middle of the building, right into the living room. The kitchen is on a raised hardwood platform and includes a hidden passageway to a motorcycle garage.
