Before, frontThe homeowner in this episode bought the home because of its great location and because he could see the potential through the rubble and dust. Goals of the remodel include adding living areas to the main floor and a bedroom and home office upstairs. Other plans are to maximize the use of limited space and add modern conveniences to an old building.
Designer Shawn Glerum's plan added comfortable, open living spaces to a rundown building. The exterior was completely refurbished so the home matches its historic neighborhood. New landscaping was added in the front and back yards. Highlights include a new master bedroom and cozy living room.
