Designer Julie Weber kept the historic elements of the house while incorporating contemporary design cues. Weber showed Tompkins four different paint schemes, all featuring rich colors keeping with the time period of the house. Finally they decided on a two-tone neutral color scheme for the house and trim. Landscape designer Rob Bell selected plants to provide big impact in a small space, including a crepe myrtle to provide year-round color and interest.
