The homeowners in this episode bought the home for its neighborhood and large corner lot. They knew from the start that their ultimate plan called for a large-scale remodel affecting every inch of the home. Priorities included lots of bedrooms for guests, elegant living spaces and a comfortable outdoor living space.
Designer Shane Ames' design created a home that takes full advantage of the corner lot. His remodel included lots of outdoor living spaces, extra guest bedrooms and grand living areas.
The outside gained a whole new look with style cues from a Mediterranean villa. The exterior is all stucco and there are beautiful outdoor living spaces around the new backyard pool. Inside, each room has its own unique design theme and the spaces are grand and elegant. Highlights include the entertainment room with a movie screen and stage and the main-floor family room.
