A grand home of a 19th century lumber baron falls into disrepair in the early 20th century. A young couple takes the home over in the 1940s and saves it from the wrecking ball. Stepping through the front door is like taking a trip back to the 1880s.
Built by lumber baron George Wood in 1885, this 24-room home has escaped demolition on many occasions.
