After: Vibrant colors, tropical plants and plenty of seating make Don Dabatos feel like a king in his own backyard.

Before: This colorless entry to the house is a blank canvas and needs some serious help.

After: New window trim, fresh paint and a custom-made awning slipcover make it nice to come home now.

Margaret Sison wants to treat her husband, Don Dabatos, to something special for their first anniversary so she calls upon host Susie Coelho and the Outer Spaces team to make over their bland backyard. Designer Mark Brunetz has a plan to transform this dreary space into a tropical paradise utilizing fabrics from the Philippines and vibrant colors. The stunning makeover also includes a new flagstone patio and lounge area.
