Host Pat Simpson follows the progress as a homeowner updates and repairs a home he bought for its location on a golf course. Part of the plan includes adding more windows to direct the focus to the golf course and maximizing the use of space.
Architect Ben Green's design opened up the first floor, expanded the second floor for more living space and added windows all around. The exterior gained a large front porch with stone accents. Inside, the rooms are larger and more open, and the expanded second floor includes a new master suite. The additional windows allow the homeowner to take advantage of the home's wonderful views.
The highlights of this project are a new kitchen and a guest house.
