Girls Night Out

Koepke used salvaged 10x8-foot windows to frame out a French-country outdoor kitchen. Old ceiling tin became a rustic backsplash perfect for the design theme.

Interior designer Sandy Koepke likes entertaining with her closest friends in the rustic and beautiful outdoor kitchen at her Beverly Hills home. Her philosophy is based on the childhood lesson that everything tastes better outdoors. Touches such as water features, earth tones, concrete countertop and copper sink emphasize a European flavor.

Koepke and friends like to pitch in and help with dinner and anyone is welcome to play chef for the night. Functional touches include the large gas grill, running water and a refrigerator.
