For years, the library built with a donation by Andrew Carnegie was the pride of Barnesville, Ga. So locals were concerned about the Georgian-style building's future when the library closed.

Artist Carol Wubbena checked out the library and decided to turn it into a stunning home and studio. An old card catalog now serves as a vanity in the upstairs master bath, and the glass shower stall is lined by books and other items placed behind glass.
