The homeowners have been in their house for eight years. Now it's time for a remodel that creates a more open floor plan, more comfortable living spaces and another bedroom. The goal of the remodel is to enhance the look and character of the home, inside and out, while organizing the floor plan for space and function.
Architect Michael O'Keefe's design reorganized the floor plan to incorporate another bedroom and combined several rooms to create a large kitchen and family area. The exterior look changed dramatically with new dormers and roofline. Inside, the rooms are spacious and open with unique touches such as custom lighting, high ceilings and a turret above the breakfast nook. Highlights of the remodel include the new front porch, back stone patio and the large family room.
