Remodeling Tips:

*Cabinets often take six weeks or more to arrive, so the homeowners made their selections before demolition. Ordering them before the project even starts can help avoid delays later on.

*As is often the case, the crew foreman for this project was on site more than the general contractor and became like a member of the family. When interviewing the contractor, ask to also meet the foreman and others who will be at the house on a regular basis to be that sure you'll be comfortable with them.

*During this project, the homeowners also remodeled their stairs, entryway and kitchen as well. If you have more than one space that needs renovation, doing it all at once may save you time snf money over doing it a little at a time.
