Inland red cedar's beauty, durability and natural resistance to decay and moisture make it one of nature’s best building materials. But wood burns. Potlatch has partnered with SaferWood to create a line of cedar decking with a Class A flame spread rating. The flame-retardant chemical is baked into the wood using pressure and heat.
