When Gard Jones and his wife Chevelle Moore Jones first saw an empty fire station, they knew they had to have it.

What they didn’t know was that it would take five years to get it. During the long process of wrangling with the Baltimore city government, the couple made weekly trips to the property to mow the lawn and spruce up the building.

When they were finally able to buy the building and make it a home, they let their imaginations run wild. The result is a colorful home that reflects the many sides of these delightful artists. Plus the local residents appreciate what the couple has done to bring new life to the old fire station.
