The homeowner fell in love with his 1950s home for its potential and wooded lot. But the time has come to update the house, inside and out. The goal of the remodel is to enlarge the home and create more living and bedroom space and make it more suitable for a modern lifestyle.
Architect Craig Headrick's design greatly increased the living space on the existing main floor and created a new second and third floor. The renovations brought the home to a spacious 11,000 square feet. The exterior received a big change and is now traditional Georgian manor style. The back has a new stone terrace and a huge outdoor fireplace.
