Helena Betancourt enlists the help of host Susie Coelho, designer Brian Toffoli and the Outer Spaces team to transform a dull deck into an inviting place to entertain many guests for Helena and her fiancé, Kevin Danni.
Although the engaged homeowners moved in just recently, they're excited to improve the nice start to an entertaining backyard for all the parties they're sure to have. The bridge over a dry creek bed is functional, but could stand to be enhanced.
More colorful plants in large pots, an inviting bench with striped pillows and bridge railings plus a large arbor and fountain combine to put the finishing touches on this side of the yard.
Since there wasn't seating for their recent engagement party, the couple really needs to have that addressed. The existing deck is a nice separate area that would be perfect for dining alfresco.
