Work has already begun on a yard the homeowners had filled with items without a cohesive design plan. The small patio isn't conducive to entertaining and the space needs a theme to tie it all together.

Before

Kelvin Liang is always surprising his wife with romantic gestures. In return, Melissa has asked for help to turn their plain backyard into a tropical destination for both of them to enjoy.

After

Taking cues from a five-star hotel, this backyard is now lush and colorful. A traditional Hawaiian quilt block stencil is the finishing touch on the garage wall and a new privacy fence enhances the secluded getaway feeling.
