Jimmy and Sarah Holliman moved into their Mission-style home a few years ago and are ready to make some changes. They hope to liven up the home's character with projects that'll add color and personality. Designer Maloos Anvarian has a lot of ideas to capitalize on the home's Mission style, including new arches, pilasters, Spanish tiles and a colorful garden. Here's how they accomplish it:
- Tiles accent the archway in the entry and on the front walk.
- Pilasters and tile work for the windows and a newly stained door.
- A bathroom window gets some glasswork to make it more visually appealing.
- New hanging baskets with colorful flowers.
- A brand new garden full of interesting colors and textures.
