All About
Materials and Tools:
large planter
bricks to weight container
small foam pumpkin
medium foam pumpkin
large foam pumpkin
palm fronds
various sizes of faux flowers, fruit and berries
faux fall leaves or flowers on long stems
pine cones
small gourds
hot-glue gun and glue sticks
Steps:
1. Fill planter with bricks or rocks to weigh it down. Foam pumpkins are lightweight so two or three bricks should be sufficient.
2. Place the largest foam pumpkin in the planter, adding hot glue to all points where it comes in contact with the planter.
3. Attach palm fronds, which will form a skirt, to the top of the large pumpkin with hot glue. Set the medium pumpkin on top, securing it with hot glue.
4. Attach long-stemmed fall leaves or flowers, to resemble arms and hands, to the top of the medium pumpkin with hot glue. Then add the smallest pumpkin on top, securing it with hot glue.
5. Glue on small berries or silk flowers to create a smiling face. Add pine-cone buttons to the middle pumpkin and pile assorted gourds around the bottom of the planter.
