Materials and Tools:
block of glycerin soap (available at craft store or online)
silicone muffin mold
small plastic toys (eyeballs, spiders or googly eyes, etc.)
tweezers or chopsticks
tissue paper or clear wrap
ribbon
microwave oven
Steps:
1. Cut glycerin block along pre-scored lines, filling each cup of a flexible silicone muffin mold with two sections of soap.
2. Stick silicone muffin mold into the microwave for a few seconds, just long enough to melt the glycerin. Remove melted soap from oven and place on a flat surface.
3. Using tweezers or chopsticks, suspend plastic Halloween toys face down in the melted soap. Allow the soap to cool. Once soap has fully hardened, gently pop bars out of the flexible muffin cups.
4. Cover soap bars with tissue paper or clear wrap and tie with ribbon. These make a great noncandy Halloween party favor or addition to treat bags.
