Materials and Tools:
pet picture
poster board
spray mount
hot glue gun
felt
fiberfill
utility knife
ribbon
loose dog collar
safety pin
Steps:
1. Make a color copy of your pet's face and enlarge it as needed to create a full face mask.
2. Use spray mount to attach the image to a piece of poster board. Cut slits in the eyes and a couple cuts around the sides and bottom of the nose so your child's nose can push the pet nose forward to give the mask even more dimension.
3. Attach ribbon to the back near the eye holes with hot glue so the mask can be tied in place.
4. For the body, any color-coordinated clothing will look great. Have the child wear matching gloves and pin on a tail made out of a stuffed tube of felt for added effect.
