All About
This lovely chandelier over a dining table incorporates traditional greenery, berries and beaded fruit along with a cascade of winterberries and ornaments attached to it.
Ribbons strung from the top of this fixture end in bows below the candles, adding a festive flair to the room.
This fixture is a little less formal, but is still be the bell of the ball with a sphere of ivy and roses hung from the base. This look can apply to any season of the year.
Here are some ideas for non-traditional table settings for your dining room:
- Start with a sheer floor-length tablecloth and divide the table into four sections with beautiful sheer lime ribbons placed perpendicular to each other. This is a lovely way to separate the place settings and add visual interest to the skirt of the table cloth.
- Next, blue glass dinner plates become the base for an abstract silverware Christmas tree sculpture made out of 16-gauge wire that starts out narrow and widens at the bottom to form a tree shape. Include a few colorful beads to the wire to simulate ornaments on the tree. Slip the knife into the wire shape, and then gently weave the fork in so it interlocks with the knife. Add the spoon to create a stable tripod.
