Traditional Christmas
$120 - Tree Trimmings
A fiberglass urn is used to hold the faux tree. To keep it stable, a pipe is set in the center of the urn and secured with concrete. Anderson twists the branches together to form the tree into a spiral shape. The homeowners' old-fashioned candle lights are wrapped around the branches. Other decorations include the ribbon bows, silk red roses, gilded faux fruit and cherub ornaments.

Holiday Apple Decorations
$55 - Buffet Decorations
Red ornament topiaries add color to the dining room buffet table. The foam forms are covered first with red foil wrapping paper, then the wired ornaments are stuck into the form. Anderson uses same-color ornaments but in various sizes and finishes for subtle contrast. Another decorative element is a fruit-filled jar below right set on top of a cedar-lined plate. Steffend holds the jar full of fruit while Anderson places the cedar and the plate on top; the entire piece is then turned upside-down and set on the buffet.
