Yuletide Style

Making your own holiday ornaments is a great family tradition that even young kids can do. These colorful store-bought ornaments started out as just plain, clear glass (plastic can also be used). To add the color, remove the tops from the ornaments. Squirt different colors of paint (try glitter paint too) inside the ornament. Cover the top with your fingers, then shake. The mix of paint will create unique patterns and color combinations. These ornaments are hung from a suspended pole along with everyday lanterns to make an elegant display for the dining room.
