Warm Up the Fireplace Mantel for the Holidays

Designer Sparkle Josh thinks a large mirror is the perfect focal point for a holiday fireplace. In addition to providing a fantastic backdrop for the decorations, mirrors open up the space. To create a glamorous fireplace display, hang a silver wreath with a glittery ribbon in the center of the mirror, and drape frosted pine garland across the mantel. Two large silver vases on either side of the mantel provide symmetry. Fill the vases with tall silver birch branches as a foundation and add large silver baubles to create a curved appeal.
