four 2x6 pressure-treated lumber
2x6 redwood deck boards
3" galvanized deck screws
Tip: Build the frame slightly smaller than overall dimensions so it doesn’t protrude out
Steps:
1. Cut the 2x6 pressure-treated lumber — two at three feet and two at five feet. Nail them together to build a square frame.
2. Cut the 2x6 redwood deck boards to three feet and six inches. Starting from the center of frame, screw the decking to the frame using three inch galvanized deck screws. Space them approximately 3/16 inches.
3. Level the area and set the bridge in place. Stake off level.
