Hide CaptionShow CaptionA color palette of red, green and gold create the perfect traditional tree.
First they use a garden urn as a tree stand to bring the outdoors in. They decorate with floral plant spikes and ribbons gathered to look like flowers. They make tiny faux candles out of dowel rods that are painted and antiqued. Then they glue Christmas tree light bulbs to the tops to complete the candle and clip them right on to the tree. Collectible teacups filled with mini ornament balls create Old World appeal, chandelier prisms and antique silverware add sparkle, and family photos in place card holders personalize and complete the look. The tree is topped off with sparkling floral plumes.
