Materials and Tools:
grapevine Moravian star
white spray paint
scissors
wire snips
decorative-edge scissors
white miniature Christmas lights
peach ribbon
red velvet ribbon
glue gun and glue sticks
Steps:
1. Thoroughly cover all sides of grapevine star with white spray paint. Allow to dry.
2. If the star does not have an opening that will allow it to fit on top of Christmas tree, cut off one of the star's points with scissors or wire snips.
3. String miniature Christmas lights around all sides of the star, leaving the plug end free. Weave peach ribbon around and through the grapevine to add more color.
4. Cut edges of velvet ribbon with decorative-edge scissors. Finally, attach velvet ribbon to the edges of all of the star points. Place star on top of tree and plug in lights.
