Richard drills holes into toy animals and then inserts a dowel rod. Fabric, trim and jewels are hot glued onto each carousel ornament. To make the carousel animals spin, a little motorized device is attached then is powered through a bulb socket on the tree lights. For the top of the tree, Jeff cuts two stars out of wood. Slits are cut into each star to make them slide together, gold paint and glitter make them sparkle.
