The runner is crafted using free fabric samples cut into six-inch squares then sewn together in a patchwork pattern. A garland of magnolia and large pine cones is laid across the runner. To add a bit of holiday sparkle, the pine cones were dipped in gold paint and glitter. A new wrought-iron chandelier is hung over the dining table. The plain glass globe was dabbed with amber paint to warm up the look. The dining room chairs are given a more formal look with fitted shrugs made from pillowcases. Pretty garland and ornaments filled with jingle bells, glitter and fluffy snow complete the rustic elegant look.
